Just got back, youtube links up when I get around to it (in the next 24-48 hours).

Got a ticket for 10 quid, up on the top tier, 4 rows from the front. 27754, including yours truly, saw Truro City win 3-1 over AFC Totton. The atmosphere was great, even if it was less than a third full.

It is an impressive stadium, the people all round me were blown away. For me, having been to some pretty decent stadia over the last 18 months, I can't say its definitely the best I've been to, but it is quality. The food prices are horrendous though. 8 quid for a few strips of chicken and chips. Do your own conversion to dollars, I'm to scared to work it out.

From the outside, on the walk towards it, it is possibly the most impressive. The only one comparable that I've been to is the Allianz Arena, the long walk up the hill, with it all visible and getting larger in your field of vision. Wembley just dominates the skyline for miles around, and the walk up Empire Way, the way the buildings on either side focus your attention straight ahead, and up to the Arch, is a bit special. Actually, going that way added about 20 minutes onto my journey to the ground, but I felt that if I'm going to go to Wembley for the first time, I should do it properly, and not approach from the side.

8.00 GBP = 18.9969 AUD = 21.4623 NZD

at todays exchange rates..do they give you free seats with that?

the important question is how much for beer?

f**k!

I can buy a cheeseburger at Mt Smart for $3.00 and call that overpriced.

Where's the ale imported from? Mars?

Just back from 2 weeks in Germany. Might post some pics later. Made it to a Fortuna Düsseldorf in the rather stunning LTU arena - 52k stadium built for the World Cup but not used.

Food prices?
500ml of excellent beer - €2 (and a 1€ cup deposit)
Schnitzel in a roll - €2
Chips - €2
sausage in a roll €2

There about the same prices you would pay at Subiaco Oval.
