Maybe on most days yes. To the media's credit, they report about people being ejected from the cricket. It is mainly for intoxication and people getting angry over the refual of service. They rarely get kicked out for reviving old ethnic conflicts in front of an international audience at Australia's biggest global sporting event.

People should not be kicked out for chanting
I'm sure a condition of the ticket says that the organisers reserve the right to kick anyone out for conduct that they deem offensive. People can have whatever opinion they want on chanting but the eyes of the world are on Australia andwhen they see Serb-Australians and Croat-Australians hurling abuse at one another, it does portray Australia and the tournament in a bad light. Therefore, the tournament organisers are well within their rights to take this action.
If you feel that you should be able to hurl abuse at the expat descendants of the people your grandfather used to hurl abuse at, don't go to the Australian Open.

Witnesses get booted out all the time for associating with intoxicated people. I see it all the time where I work. I'm sure some people who simnply wore colours and were witnesses got kicked out without fighting or chanting but there is a good argument for the security guards/police taking this approach. You don't want to favour certain sides and you need to take swift action in the heat of the moment to stop this from happening.
