 Post subject: Will John O'Neill rejoin the ARU.

I think the ARU need him bigtime because since he was dumped by the them in 2004 Rugby Union in Australia has struggled with falling crowds for the Wallabies,Brumbies etc.,or should he try his hand in the NRL.

tbh the jist i got from the news regarding it was that he wanted to look into other career paths, away from sports management.

In any case i dont think he would be wooed back by Rugby Union, the board axed him despite the fact he led rugby from an amateur/semi-pro game into a sporting heavyweight, and had just completed the most successful and profitable rugby world cup ever.

Not a chance in hell. They got greedy and jealous of his success so they ousted him. This has burt many Bridges with John O'Neill and to put it lightly the ARU is the new Old Soccer Admin why would he want to go back and clean up there mess.

Yes when he got the job in 1995 all Union ever did was rise but now it seems Rugby Union is in quite a mess with the hurried idea of a national comp and falling rowds for internationals and the Brumbies.
