Its beginning to mirror the development of 1-day cricket just much faster.

Initiated in England for counties then going international with India refusing at first then accepting it as they are now accepting 20/20 and perhaps they will then go on to champion that format.
I am guessing its very likely that there could be domestic indian 20/20 in front of 100,000 crowds and how that will impact cricket in the coming years is impossible to know.
