Err, someone, anyone, with some sort of answer - or should I change to an easier question?

Umm - OK, that was a bit of a difficult one, so I'll try another.

( had also thought about asking for the greatest stadium disaster/tragedy (as in fatalities, not 2003/2004 GF results), but decided to go for a sports question instead, so here goes -

What was so different/unique about the 1912 Australian v Sth Africa 3 test cricket series?

It's the only test series "Australian" has ever played?

Seriously though, because it was part of a three team series (England being the third team), or something like that?

BINGO! (Hiraldo and Spud can fight it out as to who got it first!)

I'll give you one!

What was significant about the 1922 Challenge Cup (besides the fact Rochdale Hornets won it)?

Just to abuse the system, I'll add a bonus question that is relevant to today.
Tasmanian wonder-boy Ricky Ponting has recently joined the much-acclaimed group of 100-test players. Of these players, who has the highest batting average?

The little master has a slightly superior average to Punter. He's somewhere around 57....even after his form slump. So you're right, but don't get a question (I butted in in the first place)

It was the 1st time that the Challenge Cup was played under the Rugby Football League as the league changed its name from its original Northern Union.

Was Rochdale Hornets only cup final and only win.

Was the largest ever club only crowd at Headingley with a capacity 32,596 turning up. No Leeds Rhinos (Loiners) crowd at Headingley has ever been this big.
