Adelaide United's new logo:

Very similar to Sydney FC (and the Cricket Australia logo's).

It's great that it symbolises the logo going through a ring, because that's exactly what I want to do with it. Stick it up the arse of the person who came up with it.

The old logo runs r... is better than that one.

They might be looking to appeal to the Gay community of Adelaide

That coming from someone who supports "glory" and wears purple?

It's likely that all logos will have to conform to a template. Melbourne Victory have already been asked to redesign their logo, and there was talk that Perth is doing the same...

I was referring to the Rainbow look its got

Not being serious mate... I wear my purple shirt with pride

I have also heard this...I hope like hell ours doesn't change...the tip is that it will be more Western Australian with them wearing black and yellow.

Will be devastated if this happens

I read on adelaideunited.com.au that there will be a seven team curtain raiser tournament between on the aussie teams in the a-league. Since Perth won the nsl they receive the bye to the semis, while the other 6 playoff for the other 3 semi final positions. The winner of this tournament, clearly the Central Coast Mariners, will play in the OFC club championship, with the winner of that star studded tournament taking the field in the FIFA world club championship.[/u]

Yes, it will be played over 8-10 days at 2-3 venues, including Central Coast Stadium.

Hindmarsh Stadium is one of the hosts for the event, with Sydney FC confirmed to be playing a match here.

Why, the current colours are a disgrace. They should have been Black and Yellow from the beginning. Purple is a sh*t colour which hasn't been popular since the 80's. Have you never heard the Dockers getting sh*t for having purple in their mix.

The Freo supporters looked pretty happy during the "purple haze" charity match.

I seriously think it's a Perth thing.
