Is this the guy that halved ticket prices and now he's complaining that he's losing too much money?

He might be good at digging stuff out of the ground, but a business genius he aint. It's like he went to the North Melbourne school of football economics.

I've heard that before. Might keep that quote handy if Sage bails.

While he's in the sacking mood, the second 's' in "Hunter Sports Group" seems a bit surplus to requirements now.

Was at the pub on Saturday night
When the game went into a penalty shoot out after extra time, Foxtel decided to show the Gold Coast Suns AFL game

It's always sh*t for games to be decided by penalty shootout but them's the rules.

Perth make it to a GF when the city has barely noticed them all year. Could be a bounce for the club but I don't think they will beat Brisbane.

Foxtel offered the shoot out on viewers choice. You needed to go to the bar and yell at them to press the red button.

I don't think they could work it out or they couldn't get that option
It upset the 4 guys that were watching it nearly has much as having the match changed over for the NRL game - but apparently they got the result online

Not having Foxtel, it sounds pretty sucky that some dick in their programming department thought it would be a good idea to drop the most exciting 5 minutes of any football match of any code that weekend for the first five minutes of something else.

It's not their fault the game ran over its timeslot. You had the option of choosing either broadcast, with big bold text on the screen warning you and another reminder note in the corner of the screen!

Not at all embarrassing that the GF was won when someone fell over in the box and converted the penalty. Not at all. Not one bit

...or that they announced the wrong winner of the Joe Marston medal and then ran a second presentation in the basement at a hastily organised press conference.

1. Load shotgun
2. Point at foot
3. Call "pull"
4. Fire
5. ???
6. Profit!!!

The downside to drawing 50,300 to australian football is that 50,300 people see it.

Can we really not get a decent pitch for the grand final?
