Just had a flick through the foxtel channels, they could have installed some interesting seat patterns for something pretty to look at with empty stands, otherwise really good to see that India has really gotten behind these games.

Did you see the Netball tonight? The England game... there were literally more players on the court than people in the stands. It's a shame really.

I still can't believe the Qld government are wasting money to host this rubbish.

Why don't they just make the tickets free.

Take your pick, about 200 people to watch the mens gymnastics in a place that looks like it could hold 10,000 easily. Even the hockey isn't well attended and they like that one. Take away people with a direct connection to the people competing and I daresay it gets even sadder.
Free tickets would be suicide with the stringent security arrangements, they should try to get a bunch of school children in however.

The big question is which IPL franchise is using the main stadium after the games.......cause they are not getting the olympics
