Heineken is probably my favourite beer.

I don't mind Little Creatures, but my favourite alcoholic drink is Bulmers.

Yeah the main reason I have Carlton Draught is because its 2-3 bucks a pot or $10 a jug in Melbourne's dirty pubs. I find Boag's Draught too heavy to guzzle...I've had enough of it after three bottles, makes me a lot more crook than the carlton tbh.
They were the sponsor of the GP today...moved to the scotch bought by mate's hosts. Love being schmoozed :D
The uni bar at La Trobe is good, $12 a jug for your choice of Ted's Extra Dry, Boag's Draught or Boag's Classic blonde...

I guess I'll also add that although Little Creatures Pale Ale is my favourite Australian beer, I'd still go for a Leffer over it any day of the week. Especially if you're buying.

I normally only drink Little Creatures when I go to the Brewery, other than that I don't bother...

Anyone who is in Sydney and likes good beer should try the Local Taphouse - just up the road from the SFS/SCG
Has 20 different beers on tap (none of which are VB) you can get a tasting paddle to see what you like

On the topic of Little Creatures, they are looking at constructing a hotel on their brewery site in Freo.

Also expanding in to a site in Victoria somewhere.

I'm just gutted their shares trade at such a premium for a company that is basically a f***ing nice beer in a shed.

A couple of years ago the only bar in Adelaide that had it on tap was a lesbian joint in Thebby (not that there's anything wrong with that). That'll change - secret's out.

Yeah I think that one opened early to mid 08, but I haven't been there personally. The place I was talking about was Healesville, but that may actually be a fully fledged brewery rather than a restaurant in a shed thingy.

Man I fukn love the sh*t.

I haven't bothered going to the one in Melbourne, but once you see how packed Little Creatures is every weekend and thier new fancy loft bar above you will understand why their share price is that high.

I could get Little Creatures at my local pub The Goodwood...

By the way I'm happy that Australia is starting to develop a micro brewing culture like Europe and the United States. Play on gentlemen.

Another brewer that I'll pump up is Gulf Brewery from South Australia.

If you only try one make it the Humpback, or affectionately known as the Whale Pale. If you try 2 go for the Fish. Years ago I could only find this at the Fad Bar in Waymouth Street Adelaide, which was a shame because you had to wade through some pretty pretentious sh*t just to get to the bar. But just looking at the web site it appears to be popping up elsewhere.

Was it on tap?

If they make it on tap at the Goody then it'll spread like lice at kindergarten.

Ya, but I love Coopers Pale Ale so would drink it on my lonesome watching the Force on a piddly TV at the back.

Adelaide has a truckload of amazingly good pubs.

New Zealand beer is 100 times better than ours.Speights and Sassy Red 8)
Mac's Cider is heavenly...

Just back on the last point I could find Little Creatures at most pubs in Adelaide. The Lion, The British Hotel, Joiners Arms etc etc.
