SA's attempt at frustrating the MRP to get their star player up for the game has been dealt a blow.

Grant Algie, for Livingstone, said his client had lived "an exemplary life" of community service and volunteer work.
"For some 30 years now he has been singing and busking in Rundle Mall, donating the proceeds to a number of charities around Adelaide," he said.
He asked his client's bail continue because "it's Christmas" a submission that failed to move Judge Brebner.
"I'll be sentencing him before Christmas," Judge Brebner said.
He revoked Livingstone's bail for sentencing on Thursday.
