Yes as I am heading over to Melbourne, austadiums gathering Melbourne style has been announced, will be interesting to see how successful this will be.

Well as you know, I have booked my flights for the trip to Melbourne for the Ashes, I was wondering if anybody would like to take part in an Austadiums Gatherings that have been a tad successful in Perth (basically its a group of 4 that goes to many sporting events who have met through this forum)

And have met many others at sporting venues including Greeny, Stadium Seagull, Perthsmike etc etc.

Well as I am going to Melbourne for the first day I was wondering the interest in an austadiums cricket gathering for the Ashes, were we can order tickets together - on sale 9:00am...

If this becomes a total flop, I would still like to see if there is any interest for anyone to get me to tag along with them for the first day and buy my ticket with your allocation and then repay you on the day.

It would be interesting to meet more members from the forum, met Cam,Cement Ball and Stadium King last trip.

For the 3rd Day I am going to be able to get into the MCC Members area

Anyways any interest would be much appreciated.

Australian Cricket Family Members for the MCG have been allocated 8 tickets per member.

If you are not a cricket fan I will be attending the following sporting events as well in Melbourne if you want to meet up then...will be good to meet more members.

26th December - South Dragons v Melbourne Tigers - Austadiums.com Gathering and it will feature Cam Voss.

December 26th - South Dragons v Melbourne Tigers @ Vodafone
December 29th - Melbourne Tigers v Cairns Taipans @ MNAHC
December 30th - South Dragons v Perth Wildcats @ Vodafone

I will be happy to attend the three non cricket sporting events Egan. My MCC membership will be put into use for the first time on December 26 though, so I wont be paying to sit with the commonfolk on day one . I'll be in the Members from Day 1 - 4 so if any MCC members or want to say Gday they are most welcome.

I shall be at the basketball matches also. Got to love my ultimate sporting binge leavers celebrations

I'll hopefully be going to the G test (or at least the first day), but haven't even thought about tickets yet.

Guys, have changed the austadiums gathering, is only a month away and I am sure some of you guys would want to get out to Vodafone Arena.

Dragons have the cheapest tickets in the NBL and its a derby, even if you don't like Basketball come out and meet the few folks from Perth and our large contingent of Melburnians.

If we get a few interested, we can post up some details.

I'll be at the Basketball on Boxing Day, looking forward to it - first Dragons game and first NBL game in a while, local derby, roof open - should be huge! I'd recommend all coming to pre-purchase tickets as it'll go close to a sell-out. Plus I'll be too spastic to buy a ticket at the gate anyway as I will have been standing in a bar in the MCC all day.
