Come to Auckland!

Hmm you may see me at a game next season in the A-League.

The only away trip I am desperate to go on. Air New Zealand Non Stop is also attractive...

Lets see how my budget goes...

Only 4 days away...

Seems like it will be a party of 4 at the basketball...

If anybody wants to meet me on the 26th/27th or take me to some particular part of Melbourne, PM me and I will give you my mobile number.

I'll be away in the bush, as I am every Christmas/Boxing Day weeks, this time in Albury for a few days, followed by a couple of days in Bright - providing the bushfires don't get to it first (or whilst I'm there). Could be a very smoky week for me.

Meanwhile - better pack your best winter woolies for Melbourne. After a week featuring a day of chocking smoke, then sweltering heat, with the hottest December night in 45 years, finally, at long last, some rain actually arrived yesterday evening, and its now just pleasantly cool.

However, Christmas/Boxing Day is forecast to be the coldest here ever, with snow even forecast for the ranges!!
Just goes to show the lengths this city will go to make all those Barmey Army tourists feel right at home for Christmas!!

Hopefully, there won't be too much of a dampener on Boxing Day, no matter how much we need the rain. I guess the lid will be closed for the basketball.

Damn the lid is to be changed.

I will need a cold Boxing Day after experiencing a 37c Xmas Day here in Perth

At least, with those cool southerlies blowing, you shouldn't cop any smoke next week (whereas I'll be just a little north of the fires, which means ... )

Well we had a good night out at the b-ball. Over 9,000 in attendance and we sung up the back with some of the Victory guys. A long day after being (at the bar) at the cricket all day.

I've now been in the biggest NBL crowd for the year (9k @ vodafone), cricket (90k @ mcg), soccer (95k @ mcg), a-league (50k @ td), afl (97k @ mcg). Not bad eh!

ROFL at the hot blonde chick that eyed Cam up and down as we were exiting from Vodafone Arena. She was on fire even with my alcohol infused eyes. Top tottie!

Enjoyed seeing the reaction to the You Fat Bastard Chant.

So ROFL the banter, that they where to scared to piss me off. I don't think they have been soccer noobs for to long.

After experiencing the Victory chants, I have to say I prefer Glory's..

hehe yeah she was a good sort! That's given me some inspiration to go to another dragons game..

The chants were funny. At first they were going for the Tigers, then they saw the light and went for the Dragons, with a few victory chants here and there. Egan of course they were too scared to piss you off, afterall I was sitting next to you. But they did get stuck into you a bit.
Come to an actual Victory game, then you'll see who's chants you prefer.

C'mon, where's Matt with the photos?
