Scoop, while you're on Santiago I want you to make an informed decision and become a life long supporter of U de Chile or Colo Colo. I think you'll be attracted to the proletarian image of Colo Colo but then you'll feel your usual urge to be contrary and nail your colours to Universidad. Either way, make a choice.

and once you do, bring some merch back!

Didn't go to Goodwood, but itneresting you raise the land around Hindmarsh. There's loads of pubs in the surrounding areas but f**k all people about. I find it hard to believe that people would live so far out of the city when their inner city is so under utlised.

One word: Westfield.

Life has been sucked away from the CBD by the big shopping centres. Besides Palace/Nova there isn't even a movie theater in the square mile.

The reason there's no inner city urban renewal is because the Adelaide City Council has been fighting like hell for a decade for city renewal. Their grand plan was 30,000 residents in the entire square mile of the city. And they missed it by a long shot. The only limited succes they've had is in jamming international students in to slap up apartment blocks. Nobody local wants to live in the city.

Well it puts the Adelaide yoof drain into perspective. The place has so much potential. When not ruining my SANFL plans*, my girlfriend remarked that the square mile reminded her of something you'd see on Sim City.

* Yes I am still f***ing bitter.

Why not? It's hardly hustle and bustle south of the pie cart (which incidentally, is another thing I wanted to try but missed).

What is ridiculous is that I paid $130 a week rent for a room in the inner south, while I could spend similar to rent a room in Noarlunga.

I probably am unusual, but I only ever shop in the CBD. On the rare occasion I went to buy something, it was from the CBD.

Saw a South Korean and Uruguayan flag out the front of the apartments...

Yeah, Argentinian and Chilean beer are quite nice.

Off to Putre on Monday. Food here is amazing...LAN Chile flight attendants are quite attractive as well.

Good group of people, even have a Sandgroper from the Ongerups to talk about WA too

I wish I could travel overseas so I could find that very special someone to talk about South Australia with, and read austadiums.

Yob, hardly going on the net.

Its Sunday, its worse than Perth in shops being closed. All day in the bus tommorow. Austral is the favourite beer amongst the australians. But the bottled red wine for $3.50 is quite nice as well.

Bags with passport lost...LOL

The archaeologist in charge took my bag while I was pouring my water. Hopefully they have been found at the hotel. In better news got a historical archaeology job in North West WA for three weeks in September.

Putre = freezing...didn´t get to watch Chile lose to Brazil.

Off excavating in Vitor about 45 mins south of Arica on Monday. If I get my passport, will head into Peru on Saturday

Contact the consulate ASAP. If your passport is gone it'll take a couple of weeks for a temporary replacement to arrive. And pray you have a consulate in your city - you need to attend in person, and plenty of airports require passport for domestic travel by foreigners. Worst case scenario is you're stuck in that country for a few weeks and you need to hire a car (or motorbike) to get to the consulate.

All of this I tell you from experience.
