ah the old " you have 60million people to choose from, you should win more golds"

seriously though i think we've had £265million worth of funding on our athletes...and we'll spend more in the lead up to 2012

and before you all start, just think of it like when you lot setup the AIS,those initial millions spent starting the program is like what we're doing know and will continue to benefit our athletes for years to come just as the AIS has.

GB are spending millions on their programmes and it is starting to bear fruit. Just like for years the English FA have spent millions on soccer...

We don't have any significant swimmers, but it'll start to get better when we get into the rowing, etc.

We've had a few New Zealand records set by our swimmers though, can't ask for much more than that!

Your British boys haven't been too good at sticking it to Phelps either.

Don't make me bring up the per capita argument!

if phelps scared ian thorpe into retirement then our lads are'nt stupid enough to have a crack at him

your boy this morning went for gold against phelps and ended up with sod all..he should have been realistic and gone for a silver or bronze which he was well capable of winning..

Need to bring Roy and HG back to give sh*t to the Poms and Kiwis. They gave the Kiwis an almighty bashing during 2000

Get Danyon Loader back for NZ. His one man battle with the Aussies in the 1994 Commonwealth Games was sensational. An excellent swimmer.
