I don't know if this will get much of a response but you never know.
Does anyone know how to score cricket using the linear method as opposed to the standard box-type method? I was in a sports shop today and came across a linear scoresheet for the first time.
In the standard method I was taught, which resembles the scorecards you see on TV and each over is recorded in a tiny box. See

The linear method has loads more room for more cumulative details but I cannot find a ball by ball entry - it must be there but I do not know where to find it. See
