Cricket Australia have 15,690. I suspect it's just a typo at Fox.

Ahh, that's possible too - but it was sold out and the stadium's record crowd is 16719 so I thought 16590 would be more likely!

I remember seeing an article on Media watch where they reported that the company that publishes attendance figures??? (cant recall) deliberately putting in slightly bogus figures to catch out plagiarists and they got them, but I cant recall who the caught out if it was one of the papers or an online source.

For this site, in most cases (where possible) I get the attendance figures from the official website. (including AFL, A-League & NBL). I also get figures sent to me from the leagues to fill the gaps (inc NBL), and sometimes leagues/governing bodies send figures through to me (ARU did this recently for S14 games which I didn't habe).

On the topic guys... The following page displays all events for which I don't have crowd figures. If you can fill any gaps, that would be great!

Chuq I read on that Mercury link you put on the One Day Page, that they stopped selling tickets and that they could have sold an extra 500 but didn't because of the heat.

Well I'll help you with the Twenty20 game at Tassie on the 5th of Jan. It was washed out. Davis Cup finals would have been sold-out at 15K roughly, but thats not much help.
