The people they're targeting won't be pissed off, they'll see it as a 'planting the flag' moment.

The only question is whether there are enough of them to make the troll worth the hassle.

If they want to keep the PR cycle ticking over they should offer a quasi-apology tomorrow

Shades of the 97 AFL premiership when the Crows fans painted the town after the game. The Vics weren't at all impressed by the crows scarf and beanie on the Ted Whitten statue outside Western Oval.

On the Wanderers forum they're generally unhappy with this story and aren't interested in picking unnecessary fights with RL.

Maybe Clive Palmer is helping the new club with its strategy to win community support

Why is it 95% of code war articles emanate from Sydney?

Is it because 95% of the dickheads in Australian live there?

Reportedly a crowd of around 3.5k turned up for the Wanderers first trial game against Nepean tonight. 5-0 result plus hit the post 4 times in the first half. Gibbs a trialist scored 4.

The pictures I have seen show large areas of grassed areas so I take 3.5k with a grain of salt but a crowd in the thousands is a good sign. Hopefully the flares which were prevalent tonight all get used up before the season starts.

EDIT. The official crowd has been posted as 3,612.

They showed some match footage on Fox Sports News. The crowd looked better than most GCU games in their final season.
