Have the wheels fallen off the A-League?

I know there are die hards who will go to every game but it seems to me like the A-League is sporta non grata in Australia this summer. Hardly heard anything about it & from watching a bit on TV it seems like no one goes to watch it. I compare to the BBL which has sell outs at quite a few venues over the season, International Cricket was helped by the fact the English toured down under but even the AFLW are getting better crowds that A-League. Am I wrong?
