7 rounds have passed and still no forum revolving around the 2015 season? Well that's about to change!

Anyway I've done some research and found out the game at Shark Park (Sharks vs Rabbitohs) on the 20th of April attracted the lowest crowd to a NRL season game since 1999. It'll be interesting to see if the poor weather sticks around for round 8.

What was the game in 1999?

The Bears thought it would be a great idea to relocate to Gosford and decided to base themselves at the new stadium there for the 1999 season.
However, due to rain, the stadium wasn't completed on time and they had to take their games on the road

Should've named them Bogan Globetrotters

In the 90's didn't St Kilda and the Brisbane Bears (remember them) play in hail at Waverley Park uninterrupted?

When I was a kid I was genetically coded with the Adelaide Crows. So keen that I went to a match at Football Park where the rain, wind, hail, electrical storm was so bad that the Crows were given the option of ending the game in the 3rd quarter and winning in a walkover. Things came to a head when the electrical storm hit the ground. The lights were killed and we sat in the dark thinking "f**k now what." Turns out lightning isn't a good mix with a soaking wet stadium with 50,000 aluminium bench seats. Eventually the game was played to the end and the Crows lost.

That was the coldest I'd been in my entire life to that point.

Come to think of it, that's not the first time those bench seats were a problem. There was another game which I remember about 97ish, when a poor bloke had a heart attack in our bay. The ambos stormed in with a cardiac defibrillator and everyone was falling over eachother like dominos to get off the bench seat. I remember in the moment I was like f**k off the game's on.

News revolving around Parramatta's salary cap breach has gone silent recently. Any new sneaky developments as of recently?

The Bulldogs are playing Melbourne at Belmore. Looks a fair crowd for a Monday night game. The Hill, south end and main grandstand are all pretty full. North end is closed off. They've also got rid of the shed roofs that used to be on both ends (they were good for acoustics even with a small crowd)
