What's that worth? Not much I'm guessing

Re: NRL Crowd Watch
Storm got their biggest ever crowd at AAMI Park - 25k. Gotta say the pitch at AAMI is the best in the NRL and A-League. I've never seen it not look top notch. Wish the SFS would lay the same stuff.

I watched the last 15 minutes of the Storm game. Was a great spectacle. Very good atmosphere. There sure are some devout Storm fans out there - they just don't get celebrated by Sydney siders as much as Victorians celebrate the Swans.

The New Zealand Warriors look set to draw a crowd similar to the recent 'third largest ever at the caketin' in their upcoming match against Canterbury

NRL crowds up 11.2% so far this season after 8 rounds. Will be interesting to compare this against the AFL after 8 rounds. Currently the AFL is up 11.4%.

Yup. I was comparing to last seasons's average and the season always starts off well. The AFL is up about 2% compared to round 6 last season also.bazza wrote:NRL crowds are up about 2% (~500 people per game) compared to round 8 last yeargyfox wrote:NRL crowds up 11.2% so far this season after 8 rounds. Must be those record breaking crowds in New Zealand.
