Docklands with the roof off is a mixed bag. Day matches with the roof off look great, but the television cameras always struggle between light shifts during play. Roof on during the day looks tacky.Jeffles wrote:The concourse area behind the seating is too cramped and they rarely open the roof.

Re: NRL 2012
Gallop resigns!
Subtext of reports is he did not get along well with ARLC Chairman John Grant and this may have speeded up an exit that was already on the cards.
A deeply divisive figure but on balance I think he has done a very good job. Despite increased investment from competitors and a litany of scandal, the game has emerged stronger than it was at the beginning of his tenure in virtually all respects.
He did have his bad points. His defence of Channel Nein, the handling of the Brett Stewart matter, his undiplomatic language during the pokies campaign spring to mind immediately. I'm sure there were others.

ANZ stadium using lights to try and dry the surface for tomorrow night's state of Origin game.

They should have closed the roof while it was raining

So we can play more sports there.bazza wrote:After the Olympics why did we get retractable seats instead of a retractable roof
And judging by how much Victorians whinge about the roof on Etihad, the correct decision was made!

Where is the Souths bandwagon, geographically? Down here it's the Faders, St George, Wests Tigers in that order.Simmo79 wrote:All aboard the Souths Bandwaggon!!!!!!! Go Rabbitahs!
