13,713 at Bellerive last night. I would expect Nth Melb to get more than that.

I am sure Hobart will get as many to AFL as Launceston does. Not sure if Bellerive is up to the standard of York Park, tho

Announcement today that Collingwood's Harry O'Brien chosen as a "People for Australia" ambassador. Seems he grew up in Fitzroy....wish I had known him when I lived there!

This is the most straight forward explanation of the new AFL free agency I've seen to date:

All AFL experts read the Christian Science Monitor - it's why they give such intelligent & unbiased comments

Australia Day, so went to Hyde Park. Right next to Wallabies tent was Sydney Swans area. Kids lining up to throw footballs at blow-up AFL footballers. Lots of laughs when they knock 'em down. Is there no end to Sydney AFL bashing :der:

^ Or the correction of bullshit nobleoz...

But the point still stands, if you want an Aussie Rules lovefest, why are you in Sydney?

There are plenty of cities that you can talk about Natanui's dreadlock as the most important subject in your life, particularly along the southern coastline...
