I liked Peter Fitzsimonds comments on the front page of todays SMH "how do you know a Collingwood supporter invented the toothbrush? Because otherwise it would of been called a teethbrush!" :)

These jokes are old. Jokes about Collingwood fans were from another era. They are not applicable today, yet they perpetuate because it gets passed down the line. Collingwood fans are just like everyone else. If anything, it is the Carlton fans who should be singled out. I know a few of them. As a whole, they are the most foul mouthed fans you will hear. They are scum, pure inbred scum.

Why stop there? How about:

"These jokes are old. Jokes about Collingwood fans were from another era."

and

"Collingwood fans are just like everyone else. If anything, it is the Carlton fans who should be singled out."

Coming from Sydney I wouldn't expect you to know about Carlton fans you idiot. Just be greatful that you don't have to live and work amongst them. Take it from me, Collingwood fans on the whole are extremely civilused, gracious winners and good losers. I don't begrudge Geelong their win, IMO Collingwood should have won if not for a few issues but I don't begrudge Geelong their win. They beat us 3 times in the season and they can't do more than that. Now had it been Carlton losing, their flog fans would have caused a Vancouver style riot the pieces of trash that they are.

It seems pretty clear to people from Sydney and elsewhere that Collingwood fans have massive issues
