T20 and ODIs remind me of the relationship between Milhouse's parents. They're destined to split apart and clearly one of them is a tool.

They look like they're related by blood?

In my high school we called it 'Wogs on Dogs,' and it was lunch time soccer matches only.

In addition to teams based at the Gabba, Bellerive Oval, Adelaide Oval and the WACA, the Board has approved teams to play at the SCG and/or Sydney Olympic Park, while in Victoria, the two recommended venues are the MCG and/or Etihad Stadium.

Why haven't I landed consultancy gigs like this.

Amazing insight provided. I wonder how many hours were charged to the account for that one.

I wonder if they considered how playing a cricket game 2-3 days after the NYE rave at Etihad will go down.

Brisbane will be known as the "Heat"

http://www.couriermail.com.au/ipad/twen ... 6006001035

Some worrying signs....

Quote:
The names and colours of all eight teams, including two from Sydney and Melbourne, will be released by Cricket Australia later this week and cricket fans may be shocked by the non-conventional colour choice.

In a bid to make the teams different from their state teams and also other sporting teams based in their city, CA had banned the new franchises from using traditional state colours.

So there will be no trace of maroon in the Brisbane strip, or red in the Adelaide colours.

The Heat was chosen as a name because of its link with Brisbane's hot climate and outdoor lifestyle.

Animal or historical names were deemed unsuitable.

There was a feeling the Heat was short, sharp and would have appeal to the teenage market in that it was modern and edgy.
