The push for AFL Reserves has moved across the Nullabor.

Yep, there has been murmurs in that paper recently.

Seems as if the WAFL clubs are going to reject it and the Eagles and Dockers will try and buy out a few of the clubs. Have already asked my club to reject any overtures. Hopefully the WAFC don't pressure any club to be bought out.

I think the interesting story is how the league has rolled over in 20 years. There was once an SANFL coach by the name of Neil Craig who hated the AFL so much that when players were dropped to the SANFL he played them in his club's reserves. Now he, along with everyone else in South Australian football, is the AFL's bunk buddy.
