there planing is interesting but they should of just gone with extended the currant competition

Whilst I haven't been there, from the pictures i've seen it would struggle to accommodate the 10-20,000 people CA would expect to attend these games. As opposed to the 36 people that attend first class games.

It would also be far, far worse than every other ground and a 'franchise' there would consequently be behind the 8 ball from day 1.

The top bod from Cricket Australia was on the ABC cricket coverage today and mentioned that the extra teams will be a second franchise each for two of the state bodies. I would expect that would be NSW and Vic.

Geelong would be a shoe in to get it if there was two from Victoria.

I reckon Docklands will be the venue they use for the Melbourne team.

NSW - A team at Telstra and SCG?
