Etihad Stadium was pretty good for Rugby

Pity the game was absolutely sh*t.

Also love the no ticket lines to go and buy a ticket

Yeah i did mate. Was the real reason I went to the Socceroos game, because it tied in with a Wallabies match as well and I thought it would be a good sporting holiday to incorporate Wallabies, Socceroos and a Sth Melb v Melb Knights game.

Actually on initial impression they are far less interested in Rugby, simply by merchandise wearing. In Perth, Union supporters are decked head to toe in Gold, even against Fiji.

Not so in Melbourne.

Was there a Wallabies game here last weekend?

Nah seriously, the publicity was very poor, I guess that's the way Rugby is these days. Havent looked at any crowd stats, but not doubt it's the smallest crowd for a rugby international in Melbourne in several years? 25k odd or something wasnt it?

20,000

5,000 less than the same game against Italy a few years ago.

Speaking of rugby and as I'm in Sydney at the moment, I've been asked by my sister tomorrow to watch my nephew play for Grammer (and get smashed most likely) against Riverview away.

It's 9am and I'll be extremely hungover.

Should I? Hrmmmmm.
