Dickslapped 48-20, and the most painful part? The commentary.

Can the Warriors win outside New Zealand? Definitely isn't looking that way.

Ivan Henjack is the Bronco's coach for the next 2 years. I have been impressed by his interviews with the media this year as assistant, although it will be strange going into next season with a coach you really know nothing about.

Meanwhile, I'm really looking forward to the round 12 battle of the spastics.

best comparison is the manager's "technical area" next to the sideline on halfway. I don't really see the problem with it. Just a cultural difference I guess.

There's one in RL but you cannot cross the red line. I understand that's what Taylor did.

Meanwhile, I struggle with tipping Penrith. They're one of my worst performers on my Oztips stats.

That's because you're sensible.

We're in will-Brown-survive-until-the-end-of-the-season territory now.

yes, but the problem is this - if brown goes, only the most inane mouthbreathers would bother taking on a job where the team very likely will miss the finals by at least 5 games and where you know the job disappears in the first week of september.

any sensible person would realise it's a hiding to nothing and would stay clearer of that than meningococcal meningitis - you know you may survive, but quite likely you'll have bits missing at the end.

The only person that would realistically fill in for Brown should he get the boot before the year is out would be an existing employee of the club's coaching staff. I don't know that he'll get booted though. Saints have to start winning soon.

the only match they've won was against the team that's won every other match, and they did it pretty easily. they threw away some other matches, have played some good footy and still contrived to lose, they're not a complete basketcase. you can see something happens where all of a sudden one missing piece goes in and they win ten on the trot.

...and then explode in flames in september. again.

Of course they will.

Meanwhile, I bought the maroon and blue Kangaroos jersey. Looks good BUT they also had on sale a standard 2008 Kangaroos jersey with the Centenary badge above the ARL crest. Unless they wear this in the RLWC, it could be a jersey made that on't be used in a match. If it IS what they wear at the RLWC, I'm disappointed that there is no defining RLWC badge or caption.

I think Melbourne will romp home tonight. Canberra have been let back into games in recent home wins but Melbourne should have the discipline not to let that happen.

I gave the Roosters a compliment and they backfired yesterday. That's a bad way to finish a game. The Scott Prince Show is travelling well. Does that confirm my (low) opinion of Mat Rogers?

Canberra is paying $4.10 Head to Head on TAB Sportsbet. Though I stad by my prediction above, I think it's a little too generous. Maybe worth putting on a lazy fiver.

Another sh*t result for the Bunnies on the weekend.

But it was great to see propper goal posts back at the SCG.

the coverage had some good views of the new hill grandstand.

And that is why we're the best team in the comp. We had to dig deep tonight, but Billy Slater turned it on in the second half.

Sensational comeback from the boys in the second half after a terrible first half!

After i read your post i was tempted (very strongly) to break out the debit card and make that bet.

I had my head in my hands regretting not doing it until the 71st minute.
