It makes sence being from Perth that you prefer the smaller stadium atmosphere (alas Challenge, MSNHC, WIN, etc),

WIN is actually one of the larger currently used stadiums in the NBL only Vodafone, SEC and the Powerhouse are bigger &[Singapore but they could use a stadium the size of the Snakepit in Wollongong the original and the best]. I went to the very first South Dragons home game at Vodafone arena and i thought that the atmosphere wasnt that great and there was over 5000 people their that night. With all the hype of a new team in melbourne and how close the game was the crowd didnt really lift the Dragons at all, the guy with the microphone had to do it.

As somebody who has experienced Sydney Kings away games in Wollongong, pretty much any game in the league would be an anti-climax.

Seriously, Wollongong-Sydney NBL games are some of the loudest most passionate events in the yearly sporting calender. The Hawks crowd do that standing thing where they remain standing & clapping until their opponents score. At times it goes for minutes. The Hawks get fired up by the energy of the crowd, they go on a run. And the clapping not only keeps going, but gets louder. 8)

A far cry from 99% of Sydney Kings home matches.

You have said this before, I think the game you had was a double promotion with a Waratahs practice match on next door, so you had a decent atmosphere due to a full housr. The games on Fox from the Gong have been dire and most games now are rarely full

What you state there is basically every Wildcats game at Challenge. Glad the NBL season is back, the Wildcats have been advertising well as they do every season...including during WAFL finals.

I like the pink seats...

It would help if it ever was able to actually penetrate the Sydney marketplace after all the infinite amounts of money spent on it.

I am actually enjoying sport again. After much dissapointment in Peel's season and the Glory

Great food, great seats in the media box and even shaked Ben Hunt hand as I went down to get the stats as it was just in the right spot at the right time.

Game was a sell out, but plenty of members that didn't turn up.

Was a much more enjoyable experience then what I have had at Glory games for much of the season.

Great to be back in NBL mode 8)

It's what happens when it gets dark in Melbourne.

What an awesome day

Topped off by another great Wildcats performance. Redhage would be worth the admission alone, if I actually paid for the game.

The WACA and we got the bonus point, all in a decent day. Glad I didn't watch the Glory capitulation.

Watched the Razorbacks v Taipans last night. Bloody hell there was no-one there. Had to be 500 people max. I'd suggest they move to Darwin but I don't think Darwin has an appropriate facility.

The Wildcats have entered into a contract iwith the Northern Territory Government to play one home game in Darwin a year.

i think you need to take in account that this game was played on a wednesday night at homebush. Homebush during peak hour is not worth the effort to get to and getting the train to homebush when it isnt a major event is pathetic. Also the fact that this club has come last the last two season and are still rebuliding has to be taken into consideration.

I really feel that Wednesday nights games are for TV and not for crowds as looking around the league all clubs have lower crowds on wednesday nights

Hasn't made a difference the game days in Perth, but it is pretty hard to judge a club like the Wildcats against the Razorbacks, in terms of their profile, the media coverage.

yes unfortunetly i totally agree. The razorsbacks are always going to be the little cousins to the sydney kings and to be honest i dont mind that. I really enjoy going to a razorbacks game where the CEO actually knows the members names ( yes i am aware its because we have less members). The razorbacks have bulit themselves as a kinda family club and it has a great atmosphere. Everyone ive taken to a razorbacks game loves the fact that after the game the players come out and mingle with the fans on the court.

I do recommend that any sports fan gets out to watch a razorbacks game they will be pleasantly surprised.

Mate don't say that...apparently big stadiums are the only one's that have good atmosphere

Razorbacks are proving to be a decent team this year, have got a few good victories.

Juzzy, if you want the best atmosphere in the NBL, invest in going to an away game to Perth (better then Adelaide, State Hockey and Vodafone anyways, with the venues I have been to). The PA announcer Lachy Read is worth admission alone, especially when he loses his voice because he screams so much
