Matches seen in:
Olympiastadion (Berlin - Hertha Berlin)
Karl-Liebknecht Stadion (Potsdam - Babelsberg 03)
Constant van den Stock Stadium (Brussels - Anderlecht)
Jan Breydel Stadium (Bruges - Cercle Bruges)
Villa Park (Birmingham - Aston Villa)
Highbury (London - Arsenal)
Selhurst Park (London - Wimbledon pre-MK Dons)
Blundell Park (Grimsby - GTFC)
Anfield Road (Liverpool - LFC)
San Siro (Milan - AC Milan)

Plus grounds whose names I have forgotten in: Preston, Scunthorpe, Dublin (for a Shamrock Rovers match) and Copenhagen (FK Bram). Also saw a baseball game in a ramshackle ground in the town of Las Tunas, Cuba.

Grounds I've seen but not seen matches in:
Artemio Franchi (Florence)
Stadio Olimpico (Rome)
Craven Cottage (Fulham)
Old Trafford (Manchester)
Goodison Park (Everton)

Grounds I've been arrested for trespassing in:
Stade de France (Paris - it's a long story, occurred days after Sept 11 and a match between France and Algeria which was cancelled due to crowd unrest).

Gottlieb Daimler Stadion (Again, top deck, corner flag but this time I was in the back row. Category 1 my arse FIFA! However, no bad seats when you go through.)
Back to Kaiserslautern on Monday.
I was probably in the same bay as you for the Cro match! Were you surrounded by WAGS? One of my mates got a photo of Tony Vidmar.

For Brazil: Middle deck, 2nd row, just around from the corner flag (I'm in the top left of the pic in my sig - I'm holding a Eureka Flag with NSFC painted in the corners. That's why it's my new sig).

Roughly the same position for K-town against Nippon as the other matches, but right at the edge of the main Aussie block, sitting next to a big mob of japanese.

Like you my tickets were category 1 but I'm pretty sure the people in the next bay were paying a lot less for the same view. Bloody FIFA.

Yes, it is, even for a humdrum Bundesliga match with Hertha playing sh*t. I've been there pre and post renovation, and I mus say they've done a good job in maintaining the history of the place - it's just about the only Nazi era building left in Berlin.

Before the roof was installed, Hertha flags used to line the top of the stadium, replacing the old Nazi torches used during the Olympics (the torch marathon originated in the Berlin Olympics, btw), which had a bit of iffy symbolism, if you ask me. The only problem with the roof now is the support poles block the view for several thousand seats, but there was really no other way to do it.

On a side note, I find it amazing that they can fit in 75,000 people into the place, as an all-seater. The seats aren't particularly cramped and the sightlines are good, but the height form the top row to the pitch level would probably be about half that of the redeveloped MCG or the new Wembley. Really has me scratching my head, that one.
