The news report said $4.3 million. Although the bimbo called the stand a stadium.

It is a whole stadium that's been built from scratch, not just the grandstand.

I love it - elevators for small regional sportsgrounds.

It seems to be a basic requirement to have lifts at sports grounds. It seems to be a combination of disability mobility regulations and corporate hospitality standards.

Kogarah Oval has three now and WIN Stadium will have four or five when the redevelopment has finished (three in the western stand, one in the southern and I think there's one in the WEC/northern stand somewhere).

Acer Arena has seven and an escalator. Henson Park has none. That's the extent of my stadium elevator knowledge.

That's bloody impressive for a small regional centre. Mudgee isn't even the biggest town in the region. I know that Parkes has been lobbying for a while to get City v Country but the stand at Pioneer Oval is rubbish. Uncovered steel bleachers with elevated corporate suites immediately behind. No wonder they miss out.
