Found this pic on Getty Images of the Adelaide Entertainment Centre as it was during the ANZ Championship Grand Final with an attendance of 9,300.
Shows that the AEC is actually a good place for sporting events like netball, basketball, tennis etc.

I saw a bit of the netty final. The space behind the goals was quite large which got me thinking that it would be great for tennis. Do it!

Re: Adelaide Entertainment Centre
Memorial Drive would surely maintain sentimental value. Plus its location is second to none. Can't see tennis being played here.Jeffles wrote:I saw a bit of the netty final. The space behind the goals was quite large which got me thinking that it would be great for tennis. Do it!

It has been used for tennis but only charity stuff. Memorial Drive has been, is and will be the only venue for major tennis in Adelaide unless something changes.
