Sounds a lot like Perth Glory did when they moved early HAL season games to Subiaco….shifting the pitch so that it wasn’t in the middle, but more towards the three-tiered stand end of the ground. 25 to 30k in ANZ stadium probably will be a soulless cavernous atmosphere in the hugeness of ANZ I'm trying to learn more about RL so I'll be watching this one if its on Fox.Boba Fett wrote:Interesting...

If they're only expecting 25-30k, then this should actually improve the atmosphere...

25-30k for a Rugby League match does not lack atmosphere. Atmosphere comes across on TV from this stadium with this sort of crowd/ The only real places where this stadium lacks atmosphere in these types of crowds are behind the post.Adelaide_United_Red wrote:Sounds a lot like Perth Glory did when they moved early HAL season games to Subiaco….shifting the pitch so that it wasn’t in the middle, but more towards the three-tiered stand end of the ground. 25 to 30k in ANZ stadium probably will be a soulless cavernous atmosphere in the hugeness of ANZ I'm trying to learn more about RL so I'll be watching this one if its on Fox.Boba Fett wrote:Interesting...

The capacity restriction? What do they care anyway? It's not like there's much demand for either the SCG or SFS to have an increased capacity.the crow wrote:$100m for the SCGT to remove the 2031 noose from it's own development...cheap
Would this allow the SCGT to put a roof on the SFS?the crow wrote:$100m for the SCGT to remove the 2031 noose from it's own development...cheap
