I think Jubilee Avenue might need to be narrowed a touch to accommodate your plans!

Thanks for that. They've integrated the new stand quite well. The viewing from the western stand at Kogarah is excellent. No doubt it will be similar in the extension.

That's me Cheesie. I saw your post tonight at WORL and slipped across to join.

Have been meaning to join for sometime - a great community you have here - but just time constraints have me not being able to bounce around as many forums as I'de like. The WORL issues keep me well busy as it is!

Anyway, with my home oval of Jubilee being revamped, and movements afoot at Members Equity in Perth - and some development happening in my own WARL scene, I figured nows as good a time as any to join in the fun.

That new stand is looking really good. It will be great to hopefully see that stand full at Kogarah next year.

I went out and checked on progress yesterday.

It's looking pretty awesome.

There's going to be a quite decent dining room type space behind the lower tier at the southern end.

I had assumed that the light tower sat behind the stand, when in actual fact it pokes up through the middle of the stand! They've literally built around it.

In this picture, the light tower is actually sticking up through the corporate box area behind the second tier.

It seems that the rumours have been confirmed, and OKI will no longer be sponsoring the Dragons and Jubilee Oval, meaning that the ground will either return to its old name or (more likely) a new corporate name will be introduced.

Does Sizzler still exist? I thought they'd been starbucked

The only one I know of that still exists is across the road from Kogarah Oval.

My understanding is there are three in NSW (Carlton, Campbelltown and somewhere else) and that there are many more in Qld. Apparently the Australian management took over the US arm somehow a few years ago, making Sizzler an Australian-run company (or some such).
