Perry Lakes LIVE

Post by Egan »

Well I am direct and typing this on the sporting field at Perry Lakes.

3000 fans and 50 meters from the finish line.

Nice rubbish tip photos for you to laugh at

Its scary even being here...not knowing when the place is going to cave in

Keep a look at for Egan's 18 Birthday bash at the rubbish tip.

Having a great time...most up to date facility is an internet kiosk.

Note the way the stadium is strangely "shaped"

Now, you have a idea of the stadium, we are onto why this place is a dump!

We (me and Egan) were all getting very excited

If that's a crowd of 3,000 then Westies average 19,000 at their games.

I can't believe the Telstra A-Series is being run at that dump and Brisbane misses out!

Everyone will agree that QEII is far and away a better venue. Frigging AA.

Happy Birthday, Egan.

For some reason there was a marquee set up on the ground about 50 meters from the finish line. It had Free givaways, Free playstation and Free internet!

Now onto other stadiums they have in the complex.

It looks a nice ground from afar. Shame about its condition. Great photos and happy birthday.

Happy 18th Egan! Was that all your rellies in the stands and all your friends in the outer? ha ha only kidding. Thank goodness the main stadium at Perry Lakes will be gone soon - I think that the town of Cambridge have finally agreed that work will start on the stadium. Will miss the WA Rugby Union Park though

Good riddance...its a shame such a large sports stadium is going to waste...but it is the biggest white elephant in the country.

I had my first drink last night...wasn't the nicest...but I got through it

Talked to Emma George, and Paul Burgess and the Lynx players, oh it was a mighty find day.

Looking forward to my next sporting adventure...back to the WACA for the One Day International

The only pic that seems to be working is the shot of the pool.
