Carlaw Park plans ditched!

While we have great news about Ericsson,the bad news to come out of this,is that Carlaw Park in Auckland misses out.
CArlaw Park is the home of NZ Rugby League,and while I was looking for info on the Ericsson news,I discovered the plans for Carlaw.! they looked fantastic..I only hope Ericsson is half as good as this...

Now its Sad news!!!!

Carlaw was a great RL ground. Full of Kiwi history. But its time had come and gone. With Erricson going ahead instead of Carlaw there will be some loss. Carlaw was close to the city etc but to build a super stadium in a tranquil park setting would have been a mistake too IMO. Farewell Carlaw.
